Yesterday I was down at New Brighton Marine lake with a few people from Wallasey Yacht Club helping with some of the prep for the Mersey Pirate Muster that will be taking place later in the year, the event organised by Tugboat Cath and her motley crew will see a pirate battle take place on the lake with The Lancashire Militia supplying much of the action and most importantly explosions. On Friday May the Fourth I got married, for those who know me you will have already guessed it wasn’t your typical church do, in fact there wasn’t a church involved at all.
